The British Children’s Academy was founded in 2005 in Skopje to cater for the needs of everyday child care.
In this website you will be able to find information on our facilities and how we operate.
The BCA is a family run business started by Ray & Angie Power to serve their own child care needs. With both Ray and Angie being entrepreneurs, the BCA was set up with the philosophy that it should be a well run business as well as a premium child care facility.
“The average family is busy and the demands on parents time is always a pressure so we have created our school to be a place that takes care of everything, reflected in our all-in approach.”
Angie Power
Our “All-in” approach means that we take care of all the bits and pieces that can serve to make life run that little bit more efficiently. For example, we have a dedicated nursery car fully equipped with a range of car seats to pick up and bring home your child at a convenient time each day. Also, we include food, nappies, wipes and anything else we can think of to make sure that you don’t have to worry about anything.
The nursery food plan can cater for all kinds of special dietary needs or baby formula preferences and we have experience with gluten intolerance diets, vegetarian menus or specific allergies.
Located in the centre of Skopje we are easily accessible from any of the major residential areas in the city, in particular those areas that international families on temporary residence in Macedonia often opt to live in.
And, being called the British Children’s Academy, we certainly don’t exclude anyone that’s not from Britain! All nationalities are warmly welcomed and we typically have over fourteen different nationalities in the nursery at any one time.
